I need to create a double-sided zine about a topic of my choosing within a two week time frame, with the limitations of only using 1-2 colors and 1-2 fonts.
And we also needed to design a small set of merchandise to promote it.
I created an educational zine about bats and why they're important for the environment and for us.
And I also designed a set of t-shirts, stickers,
and pins using elements from my zine.

WHY BATS?
From old superstitions and paranormal associations, to more recent media and believed connections to disease, bats are typically more feared than loved.
I wanted to use this opportunity to create something to help educate people, lessen the stigma, and create awareness about bats' importance.
In my zine I cover information about their anatomy and diets, as well as clarifying some of the stigmas surrounding them. I also provide information about their significant contributions in the medical field
and the agricultural field. I went for simple layouts
to improve legibility and incorporated imagery throughout to keep the reader's attention.
