WHY THE SWAN?

I wanted to include my interests in illustration into my graphic design work, since both are important to me and they play a role in my art. I started with a pencil sketch which I then digitized and turned into a risograph print.

While drawing out this illustration I was going through a very painful, but important, transition.
That experience was something I am grateful for because it taught me the beauty in finality, acceptance, and the growth that follows.
